2015年11月15日以前，运通金卡cover 无意损坏和被盗，但不能cover “丢失物品”，且每件商品只最多cover一千美元。Certain purchases are not covered, e.g. items lost by Card Member, consumable and perishable items, motorized vehicles and their parts or accessories, and items damaged partially or entirely by natural disaster or normal wear and tear.
